Workshop Format

The Format for the 2005 PUR$L Workshop will be as follows:

• Day One - Will be held at Wellington and include formal presentations, seminar sessions, practical activities and an informal dinner

• Day Two - Three field trips will be run which will demonstrate local issues by examples

• Option One “Farm Case Studies: Putting it all together in mixed farming systems”
• Option Two “Pulling Catchments to Bits: Increasing our understanding of salinity processes at focus research sites in Central West NSW”
• Option Three “Urban Salinity: Sites, situations and management”

The fieldtrips will conclude at Cowra and will lead into a relaxing dinner and entertainment

• Day Three - Will be held at Cowra and will include formal presentations, seminar sessions, practical activities & facilitated discussions
