Welcome to the website for the former Cooperative Research Centre for the Plant-based Management of Dryland Salinity (CRC Salinity). CRC Salinity concluded operations at the end of June 2007 and was replaced by its successor, the Future Farm Industries Cooperative Research Centre (FFI CRC) with a wider research brief to improve sustainability and productivity through the use of perennials.
Many of the CRC Salinity research outcomes have now been incorporated into the FFI CRC and Saltland Genie websites. However, this archive has been created to provide access to CRC Salinity publications including Annual Reports, as well as SALT and Focus on Salt magazines.

In mid 2009, FFI CRC will launch its new Future Farm Online web portal that will feature an array of information on the use of perennials in broadacre farming including salinity mitigation. When this happens, this site will become inactive and you are advised to visit Future Farm Online to continue to access this and similar information.
